Clean Dog Cut Hydrogen Peroxide
Can the dog's wound be cleaned with hydrogen peroxide?
Smell that the dog has trauma, or it is suspected that hydrogen peroxide can be used to clean the wound. However, although hydrogen peroxide has the effect of sterilization, it may not be suitable for use on dog wounds.
When hydrogen peroxide comes into contact with tissues, it quickly produces oxygen and causes bubbles to emerge. Although this can remove filth, it can react or stimulate the dog's wound, making the dog uncomfortable, or delaying the healing of the wound.
Dog wounds should first be slowly washed with normal saline to remove their blood and dust. If there is no normal saline, it can also be temporarily replaced with purified water. Later, you can choose iodophor isothermal and disinfectant to wipe the wound lightly to prevent infection. If the injury is serious, when the dog is quickly brought to the veterinarian, do not use hydrogen peroxide to deal with it, so as to avoid accidental injury.
