Clean Waterpik with Hydrogen Peroxide
The method of cleaning water dental floss with hydrogen peroxide
Nowadays, there is a problem of cleaning water dental floss, which can be done with hydrogen peroxide. The method is as follows:
First take an appropriate amount of hydrogen peroxide, usually in a ratio of one to three, mix hydrogen peroxide with water. Covered hydrogen peroxide has the ability to sterilize and disinfect, but it is strong and cannot be used purely. It can only be applied to clean water dental floss if it is combined with water.
Then, empty the water floss tank to ensure that there is no residual water or other impurities. Slowly pour the mixed liquid of hydrogen peroxide and water into the water tank, and the amount is appropriate to fill the water tank.
Immediately, start the water dental floss and adjust it to a suitable strength. Make the mixture flow through the pipe of the water floss for about a few minutes, so that the hydrogen peroxide can be fully contacted with all parts of the pipe for the purpose of cleaning and disinfection. Hydrogen peroxide can remove dirt and bacteria in the pipe, so that the water floss can be kept clean.
After running for a few minutes, turn off the water floss and discharge all the mixed liquid in the water tank. Then, rinse the water tank and water floss pipe with water many times until the discharged water is clear and odor-free before washing. If there is hydrogen peroxide residue on the cover, it may damage the mouth when used in the future.
After this step, the water floss can be cleaned and can be used with confidence to ensure oral hygiene.
