Cleaning Brass Vinegar Hydrogen Peroxide
Ways to clean brass with vinegar and hydrogen peroxide
Brass utensils, the color fades over time. Today there is a wonderful way to clean with vinegar and hydrogen peroxide.
Take an appropriate amount of vinegar. Vinegar is used for daily seasoning. It is mild in nature, but it is quite beneficial for cleaning brass. Prepare an appropriate amount of hydrogen peroxide, both are readily available.
Put the brass you want to clean in a suitable container, pour a little vinegar on it first, so that the vinegar liquid spreads over the surface of the brass. The acidity of the vinegar can slightly relieve the dirt on the surface of the brass. After a while, the dirt gradually melts into the vinegar liquid.
Then, slowly add hydrogen peroxide. When the hydrogen peroxide meets the vinegar liquid, it reacts slightly, and fine bubbles can be observed in the meantime. This reaction can further decompose dirt without damaging the texture of brass.
Use a soft cloth or brush, dip in a mixture of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide, and gently wipe the brass surface. When wiping, the force should be uniform and soft, from the surface to the inside, the dirt will gradually disappear, and the brass luster will appear. Every place has been carefully wiped, so that no omissions can be missed.
After wiping, rinse the brass with water to remove the residual mixture. Then dry it with a clean soft cloth, and the brass utensils will regain their luster, if they are reborn.
