Give Dog Hydrogen Peroxide Without Syringe
The method of feeding hydrogen peroxide to dogs by non-syringe
If a dog eats a foreign body by mistake, hydrogen peroxide is sometimes used to induce vomiting. However, other methods are also possible without the use of a syringe.
You can first find a suitable container, such as a shallow dish or a small spoon. Take an appropriate amount of hydrogen peroxide, usually about 5 to 10 ml for small dogs, 10 to 15 ml for medium dogs, and 15 to 20 ml for large dogs. The amount should not be large to prevent adverse reactions.
Then, gently fix the dog's head, make the dog's mouth slightly open, and slowly bring the container containing hydrogen peroxide close to the dog's mouth, so that the dog can lick it naturally as much as possible. This process requires patience, and do not force it to avoid the dog choking. If the dog is unwilling to take the initiative to lick, you can gently appease it, try to attract its attention with the aroma of food, and slowly pour hydrogen peroxide on its tongue while it opens its mouth.
After feeding, closely observe the dog's reaction. Generally, within a few minutes, the dog will vomit. If there is still no vomiting after a period of time, do not feed it again, and contact the veterinarian immediately. And feeding hydrogen peroxide is only an emergency measure, and subsequent veterinary professional diagnosis and treatment are required to ensure the dog's health.
