Its core component is the first fuel cell stack. In this stack, there are yin and yang poles, which are separated by a proton exchange membrane. When hydrogen enters the anode, with the help of a catalyst, the hydrogen molecules dissociate into protons and electrons. The proton is light and can pass through the proton exchange membrane to run away from the cathode; while the electrons cannot pass through the membrane, so they travel along the outer circuit to form a current. This current is the source of energy for the car, which can drive the motor and turn the wheel.

At the cathode, the oxygen molecules are also combined with the protons passing through and the electrons flowing back from the external circuit under the action of the catalyst to form water. This water is either water vapor escaping or water droplets falling, clean and harmless.

And hydrogen fuel cell vehicles have high efficiency. Compared with traditional fuel vehicles, their energy conversion rate is quite high. Fuel vehicles burn oil, and more energy is dissipated in the heat, while hydrogen fuel cell vehicles directly convert chemical energy into electrical energy, with less loss and good efficiency.

Furthermore, its hydrogenation is convenient. Although the number of hydrogen refueling stations is still small, over time, when the infrastructure is complete, when refueling, it is as fast as a fuel vehicle, and the cruising range is also sufficient, up to hundreds of miles away, which is enough to solve the travel worry.
