How Much Hydrogen Peroxide to Give Dog to Induce Vomiting
If a dog accidentally eats toxic and harmful substances and needs to induce vomiting, be cautious when using hydrogen peroxide. Generally speaking, for dogs weighing 5-10 kg, 3% concentration of hydrogen peroxide can be taken orally 5-10 ml; for dogs weighing 10-20 kg, the dosage is 10-15 ml; for dogs weighing 20-30 kg, 15-20 ml can be used. After use, you can gently massage the dog's abdomen to promote a faster vomiting reaction. However, it should be noted that this method is not suitable for all situations. If the dog is unconscious, convulsing, or swallowing corrosive substances such as strong acids and alkalis, hydrogen peroxide cannot be used to induce vomiting. You should contact your veterinarian immediately. If the dog does not vomit after using hydrogen peroxide for 15 to 20 minutes, it should not be used again and should be treated as soon as possible.
