How To Clean Ear Canal With Hydrogen Peroxide

How to clean the ear canal with hydrogen peroxide
If you want to clean the ear canal with hydrogen peroxide, prepare an appropriate amount of hydrogen peroxide and a cleaning cotton swab first. Sit in a stable place with your head slightly tilted to one side so that the ear you want to clean faces up.

Slowly pour a few drops of hydrogen peroxide into the ear. At this time, you may feel a slight bubble sound in the ear. This is normal. Wait for a while, about a few minutes, for the hydrogen peroxide to fully function and dissolve earwax.

After that, the head is still tilted to the original side, so that the hydrogen peroxide in the ear naturally flows out. You can use a cleaning cotton swab to gently wipe the ear canal opening to remove the outflow of liquid and earwax, but do not penetrate the cotton swab into the ear canal too deeply to avoid hurting the ear.

If both ears need to be cleaned, after one side is cleaned, follow the same steps to clean the other side. After cleaning, there may be a short-term discomfort in the ear, which will soon dissipate. If the ear pain intensifies or there are other abnormalities during the cleaning process, stop immediately and seek medical treatment. In this way, cleaning the ear canal with hydrogen peroxide can keep the ear clean and protect the health of hearing.
