How To Put Hydrogen In Water

The method of adding hydrogen to water
If you want to add hydrogen to water, there are various methods.

The first is to understand the nature of water. For water, hydrogen and oxygen are combined, and the molecular formula is H 2O O. To obtain hydrogen in water, you must separate the hydrogen and oxygen from the water.

One method is the technique of electrolysis. Prepare a container and fill it with pure water. If you want to get the effect quickly, you can add a little electrolyte, such as sodium sulfate, to increase the conductivity of water. Put two electrodes in water and give direct current. At the anode, the oxygen loses electrons and escapes; on the side of the cathode, the hydrogen gains electrons and is generated, gradually condensing into bubbles. This hydrogen comes out of water.

The second method, or by chemical reaction. Put active metals such as sodium and potassium into the water, and the metal and water interact. Sodium enters the water, floats on the surface, and hisses. Due to the reaction between sodium and water, the hydrogen in the water is replaced, and sodium hydroxide and hydrogen are generated. However, this metal is strong and the reaction is rapid. When operating, one must be cautious.

There are also some catalysts that promote the decomposition of water under specific conditions to obtain hydrogen. The method may require high temperature, high pressure, or light energy. By the effect of the catalyst, the hydrogen and oxygen in the water are broken off, and the hydrogen precipitates out of the water.

All these are the methods of hydrogen in water, and users should choose carefully according to the required conditions in order to obtain hydrogen in water smoothly.
