How To Whiten Laundry With Hydrogen Peroxide

The method of whitening clothes with hydrogen peroxide
If you want to whiten clothes with hydrogen peroxide, you need to follow the following methods.

First prepare an appropriate amount of hydrogen peroxide, usually the concentration of commercially available hydrogen peroxide is 3%. This concentration is suitable for whitening most clothes. If the clothes have heavy stains or special materials, you can adjust the ratio of hydrogen peroxide to water as appropriate.

Mix an appropriate amount of hydrogen peroxide with water in a certain proportion. Generally speaking, the ratio is about one part hydrogen peroxide with five parts water. However, for white cotton heavy fabrics, the amount of hydrogen peroxide can be slightly increased; while for delicate silk or wool fabrics, the proportion of hydrogen peroxide needs to be reduced to prevent damage to the fabric.

Repeat to whiten the clothes in the prepared hydrogen peroxide solution. Make sure the clothes are completely submerged, and the soaking time should be between 30 minutes and one hour. During the soaking period, turn the clothes in time to make the solution evenly contact to achieve a better whitening effect.

After soaking, take out the clothes and rinse them fully with water. Be sure to wash the hydrogen peroxide residue to avoid adverse effects on the clothes or human skin. After rinsing, the clothes can be dried as usual. If dried in a cool and ventilated place, it can reduce the damage of sunlight to the color and material of the clothes.

In this way, following the above steps and skillfully using hydrogen peroxide can make clothes as white as new, and this method is relatively mild and environmentally friendly, making it a good strategy for whitening clothes.
