Although electrolyzed water is simple, it consumes a lot of energy and costs a lot; the reforming of fossil fuels inevitably generates carbon emissions. Second, storage is not easy. The boiling point of hydrogen is extremely low, it needs to be stored at ultra-low temperature or high pressure, the equipment requirements are extremely high, the investment is quite large, and the safety risks also exist. The same is true when transporting. Special pipelines or high-pressure vessels are required, the cost rises, and the risk of leakage on the way is difficult to control. Furthermore, the infrastructure is lacking. The construction of hydrogen refueling stations cannot be done overnight, and its layout is sparse, which is far less convenient than that of gas stations. The road to promoting hydrogen energy is difficult.
