Hydrogen Peroxide Dog Vomit Dose
If a dog vomits and wants to use hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting, the dosage is very important. Generally speaking, for dogs, the dose of hydrogen peroxide should be carefully controlled. Generally, for small dogs, a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide with a concentration of 3% can be used for every five kilograms of body weight, about five milliliters. For medium-sized dogs, for every ten kilograms of body weight, it can be increased to two teaspoons, or ten milliliters. For large dogs, three teaspoons can be used for every fifteen kilograms of body weight, about fifteen milliliters. However, it is important to note that this dose is only a general reference and must not be increased or decreased at will. If the dosage is too small, it may be difficult to achieve the effect of inducing vomiting; And the use of hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting is only suitable for specific situations. If the cause of vomiting in a dog is unknown or there are other complex conditions, a veterinarian should be promptly diagnosed, and it must not be used blindly without authorization.
