When a dog eats poisons by mistake and needs to be induced to vomit, hydrogen peroxide can be used. However, the dosage must be used with caution.
Generally speaking, small puppies, if the weight is below five kilograms, should use a 3% concentration of hydrogen peroxide, the dosage is about five to ten milliliters. Medium-sized puppies, weighing five to ten kilograms, can use ten to fifteen milliliters. Large puppies, weighing more than ten kilograms, can use fifteen to twenty milliliters.
When using, dilute the hydrogen peroxide a little with water, slowly inject it into the dog's mouth with a syringe, and then gently massage its throat to help it vomit. However, do not use too much to prevent damage to the dog's mouth, throat and stomach. If the vomiting is unsuccessful and cannot be used again, the dog should be taken to the doctor immediately. And all toxic substances can be induced by hydrogen peroxide. In case of uncertainty, be sure to consult a veterinarian first.
