Dogs vary in weight and use different doses of hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is often used when a dog needs to vomit after eating something inappropriately.
If the dog weighs less than 5 pounds, 5 to 10 milliliters of 3% hydrogen peroxide should be used. The weight is between 5 and 10 pounds, and the dose of 3% hydrogen peroxide is 10 to 15 milliliters. For dogs weighing 10 to 20 pounds, 15 to 20 milliliters of 3% hydrogen peroxide should be used. For dogs weighing 20 to 30 pounds, 20 to 25 milliliters of 3% hydrogen peroxide should be used.
For dogs weighing 30 to 40 pounds, 25 to 30 milliliters of 3% hydrogen peroxide should be used. For dogs weighing 40 to 50 pounds, 30 to 35 milliliters of 3% hydrogen peroxide should be used. 50 to 60 pounds weight, about 35 to 40 ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide. For dogs weighing 60 to 70 pounds, 40 to 45 ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide is required. For dogs weighing 70 to 80 pounds, 45 to 50 ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide can be used. For dogs weighing more than 80 pounds, 50 to 60 ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide should be used.
Use hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting. It should be done with caution and must consult a veterinarian in advance. Do not apply it at will to avoid damage to the dog.
