A brief discussion of peroxide and stainless steel
The change in the physical properties of the world is unpredictable, and the combination of peroxide and stainless steel is particularly wonderful.

Hydrogen peroxide has strong oxidizing properties. Its molecular structure is unique, containing active oxygen atoms, such as Hidden Dragon in the abyss, waiting for time. Its nature is strong and changeable, and it often uses the power of oxidation to break the old state of things and promote the transformation of new ones.

Stainless steel is the leader in iron-based alloys. It is made of chromium, nickel and other elements, and a dense oxide film is formed on the surface. If the armor body is protected against corrosion, it will keep its quality firm, shape solid, luster permanent, and will not rust over time. It is a good material for utensils.

When hydrogen peroxide meets stainless steel, it is like a situation. The strong oxidizing power of hydrogen peroxide is about to erode the surface of stainless steel. However, the oxide film of stainless steel, although thin but tough, can only resist its attack. If the amount of hydrogen peroxide is small, the concentration is low, and the environment is mild, the two are temporarily peaceful, and stainless steel is only slightly disturbed by it, without damage.

However, if the amount of hydrogen peroxide is abundant, the concentration is high, and it is exposed to high temperature or for a long time, the oxide film will gradually become difficult to support. Oxygen atoms of hydrogen peroxide, such as sharp soldiers, rush through the film and gradually erode it. When iron and hydrogen peroxide meet, they become iron oxides. The quality of stainless steel gradually changes, the luster gradually loses, and the firmness gradually loses.

However, there are also ways to control it. Or adjust the concentration of hydrogen peroxide, enough is enough; or control the temperature and humidity of the environment to avoid its extremes. On the surface of stainless steel, special treatment can be applied to thicken and strengthen its oxide film, such as Zhujian City, to resist the invasion of hydrogen peroxide. Or add additives to slow down the reaction of hydrogen peroxide and protect the quality of stainless steel.

Looking at the changes of the two, it can be seen that the physical properties are in phase, and they are not static. Only by observing the reason and understanding the method can we make good use of it, avoid its harm and seek its benefit, which is of great use in the chemical industry and equipment industry.
