Hydrogen Water Bottle Working Principle

Hydrogen cups work

Hydrogen water, that is, water containing hydrogen, has attracted much attention in recent years. Hydrogen cups are a common tool for generating hydrogen water, and their working principle contains certain scientific principles.

Hydrogen cups are mainly produced by electrolysis. Generally speaking, the water cup has a built-in electrolysis device. When water is injected into the cup, the power supply is turned on (usually powered by the built-in battery), and the electrolysis device starts to work. During the electrolysis process, according to the basic principle of hydrolysis, water (H 2O O) decomposes under the action of current.

At the anode, the water molecule loses electrons and undergoes an oxidation reaction to generate oxygen (O 2) and hydrogen ions (H 3). The electrode reaction formula is: 2H 2 O - 4e = O 3 ^ + 4H 4 ^. At the cathode, the hydrogen ion obtains electrons and undergoes a reduction reaction to generate hydrogen (H 2). The electrode reaction formula is: 4H + 4e = 2H 3 ^. The hydrogen produced is partially dissolved in the water to form water containing hydrogen, that is, hydrochloric water.

To ensure the efficient and stable electrolysis process, some hydrochloric water glasses use special electrolytic membranes. This electrolytic membrane can effectively separate the gas generated by the yin and yang poles, prevent the mixing of oxygen and hydrogen, and improve the efficiency and purity of hydrogen generation. At the same time, it can also avoid short circuits between the two poles, ensuring the safety and stability of the use of water cups. In addition, some high-end water cups will also be equipped with intelligent control systems, which can precisely control the electrolysis time and intensity according to the settings, so as to adjust the dissolved concentration of hydrogen in the water and meet the needs of different users for the concentration of hydrogen water.

In short, the water cup converts ordinary water into hydrogen-rich water through ingenious electrolysis design, providing a convenient way for people to obtain hydrogen.
