On the method of using hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash
For those who use hydrogen peroxide, it is quite beneficial to use it in gargling. However, the method of using it should be clear and follow the path.

Anyone who wants to use hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash should first know its concentration. Common hydrogen peroxide has different concentrations. If you rinse your mouth directly with a high concentration, it may hurt the oral mucosa. Therefore, it is advisable to choose a suitable low concentration of hydrogen peroxide, generally about 3%.

When using, take an appropriate amount of hydrogen peroxide in a cup, and mix it with an appropriate amount of water. The amount of water should be determined according to personal needs and actual circumstances. After mixing well, rinse your mouth. When rinsing, it is advisable to contain it in the mouth, agitate the cheeks, and make the liquid fully contact the various parts of the mouth, such as teeth, gums, oral mucosa, etc., to achieve the effect of cleaning and sterilization. The time for each rinse lasts about tens of seconds, and then spit it out.

And it should be noted that rinsing with peroxide should not be too frequent. If used frequently, it may cause imbalance of the flora in the mouth and cause other diseases. Usually within a day, it is advisable to do so no more than three times. After rinsing, you can rinse with water several times to remove odor and residual peroxide in the mouth.

Furthermore, if there is damage in the mouth, such as ulcers, wounds, etc., rinse with peroxide or feel tingling. At this time, it is especially advisable to be cautious, or consult a doctor before making a decision.

If peroxide is used as a mouthwash properly, it can keep the mouth clean and healthy; if it is used improperly, it will cause harm. Therefore, users need to clarify their methods and be cautious.
