HydrogenPeroxideUsesInFirstAid

Application of hydrogen peroxide in first aid
Hydrogen peroxide is effective in first aid.

First, clean the wound. If the skin is damaged, rinsing with an appropriate amount of hydrogen peroxide can effectively remove dirt, foreign bodies and bacteria from the wound. The oxygen produced by its chemical reaction can inhibit the growth of anaerobic bacteria and reduce the risk of wound infection. For common scrapes and cuts, washing with hydrogen peroxide can create a relatively clean environment for the wound and help subsequent healing.

Second, deal with oral problems. In the field of oral first aid, hydrogen peroxide is also wonderfully useful. When the gums are swollen and sore and oral ulcers attack, gargling with diluted hydrogen peroxide can sterilize, reduce inflammation and reduce pain. It can clean up the bacteria in the mouth, improve the oral microenvironment, and relieve discomfort symptoms.

Third, deal with ear discomfort. If the ear is slightly inflamed due to infection, etc., an appropriate amount of hydrogen peroxide can be used for ear cleaning. Drop an appropriate amount of hydrogen peroxide, pour it out after a while, it can remove some secretions and bacteria in the ear, relieve ear inflammation, and reduce ear swelling and pain.

However, when using hydrogen peroxide in first aid, caution is also required. The concentration must be selected appropriately. Excessive concentration may damage normal tissues. And after use, rinse it with water to avoid residual irritation. Only by using it rationally can hydrogen peroxide play its best effect in first aid and protect health.
