Induce Vomiting in Dogs Without Hydrogen Peroxide

If a dog needs to vomit but has no hydrogen peroxide, the following methods can be used
When a dog eats poisons by mistake and wants to vomit but has no hydrogen peroxide.

First, gently probe the dog's throat with a finger or spoon handle. Slowly go deep and touch the base of its tongue. This action may stimulate the dog's vomiting reflex. However, the operation must be gentle to prevent damage to the dog's mouth and throat.

Second, salt can be selected. Take an appropriate amount of salt, melt it with warm water, and slowly drink it with the dog. The amount of salt should be appropriate. Too much or cause dehydration in the dog. If it is too little, it may not be effective in inducing vomiting. Generally speaking, small dogs can give about a teaspoon of salt with an appropriate amount of warm water, and large dogs can increase it.

Third, ginger is also available. Take an appropriate amount of fresh ginger, dilute it with warm water after juicing, and feed it to the dog. The pungent smell and ingredients of ginger may irritate the stomach of the dog and cause vomiting.

No matter what method is used, pay close attention to the state of the dog after inducing vomiting. If the dog has abnormal reactions, such as persistent vomiting, breathing difficulties, mental weakness, etc., be sure to take it to the veterinarian immediately for professional treatment.
