Low Hydrogen Electrodes Storage Before Use

Storage tips for low-hydrogen electrodes before use
If you want to do something good, you must first use the tools. In welding, the storage of low-hydrogen electrodes is crucial, and it is related to the quality of welding results.

Low-hydrogen electrodes like dryness and hate moisture. Therefore, before use, they must be placed in a dry and well-ventilated place. In the warehouse, it is recommended to maintain a suitable humidity, and do not allow moisture to disturb the electrodes. This is the first priority for storage.

Furthermore, the electrodes should be properly placed and should not be stacked at will. It is advisable to list the shelves in layers, and there are gaps between each layer to allow air circulation to be unobstructed, so that the electrodes can be protected from moisture.

And the electrode packaging, when not in use, must not be opened at will. If the packaging is damaged, water vapor is easy to enter, and the quality of the electrode is damaged. Do not open the seal when it is not in use to keep it dry.

Also, the electrode that has been opened and not used up should not be discarded at will. When the speed return is placed in a constant temperature drying oven, it is baked at a suitable temperature to remove moisture. Take it out when used to ensure the quality of welding.

All these are the keys to storing low-hydrogen electrodes before use. Following this path can make the electrode performance complete and the welding power can be smooth.
