Treatment For Hydrogen Peroxide Burn

Treatment of hydrogen peroxide burns
Mortal skin is accidentally injured by hydrogen peroxide, burning, red and swollen, and treatment should be done as soon as possible.

First, a large amount of water needs to be used to buffer the injury. The water flow should be soft and smooth, and the rinsing time is about fifteen to thirty minutes. This is to quickly remove the residual hydrogen peroxide from the injury and reduce its continuous erosion to the skin.

After rinsing, if the burn is still light and the skin is only slightly red, you can choose a clean gauze or cotton ball, dip it in iodophor, wipe the injury lightly, and disinfect it to prevent infection. Then cover it with sterile gauze and wrap it slightly, so as not to expose the injury to the outside.

If the burn is severe and the skin appears blisters, broken skin, etc., do not collapse the blisters and seek medical attention as soon as possible. On the way, it is advisable to gently cover the wound with clean gauze or towels, and do not apply heavy pressure. The doctor treats according to the situation depending on the appearance of the burn, or debridement, or application of medicine.

Also, when the wound is healing, there may be itching, and do not scratch to prevent the recurrence of infection caused by damage. You should also pay attention to your diet, avoid spicy, hair, and eat more fruits and vegetables to help the skin recover.
