What Charge Is Hydrogen
Hydrogen, what is its charge? The charge of hydrogen is usually positive monovalent. In various chemical reactions, hydrogen atoms lose one electron each time, so they become hydrogen ions with positive charges. This is because its outer layer has only one electron, which is easier to separate, so as to achieve a stable state. Looking at acid substances, such as hydrochloric acid, which can ionize hydrogen ions in water, this hydrogen ion is positively charged hydrogen, which can undergo various chemical changes with other substances. And in the experiment of electrolyzing water, the anode obtains oxygen, and the cathode produces hydrogen. This hydrogen is also generated by hydrogen ions gaining electrons after water ionization, which proves that hydrogen is often in a positive monovalent state of charge.
